Who we are
The Rigg team is responsible for the personal data collected through rigg.rentals. You can reach us through the contact form on this website.
What we collect on this website
When you request a demo, a trial account or help to migrate, or contact us: your name, company, work email, phone (if you give it), the size of your inventory, your message, the plan you are interested in, the days you prefer for a demo and, for a migration, the platform you use and what you want to bring.
When the page was opened from a campaign, we keep with the request the campaign fields of its address (utm) and the website you came from — without cookies.
When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email, your name (if you give it), the text you agreed to and when you confirmed it by email.
For abuse control we keep a keyed hash of the IP address of each request (never the address itself) and the time of the request.
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or third-party analytics. We count the pages that are opened on our own server: the address is never stored, only a one-way daily fingerprint of it that is deleted within days, so we learn which pages are read and by how many people in a day — never who they are.
Why and on what basis
To answer your request and arrange a demo — steps you asked for before a possible contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
To send the newsletter — your consent, confirmed by email, which you can withdraw through the link in every message.
To keep the website secure and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to erase them.
A newsletter subscription nobody confirmed is deleted after 8 days; a confirmed one is kept until you stop receiving it.
Page counts are kept for up to 13 months; the daily key behind the fingerprint is deleted after two days, so not even we can rebuild it.
Who receives it
Only the Rigg team and the providers that host the service and deliver email on our behalf, bound by data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
Using the Rigg platform
Data that companies enter into Rigg (clients, crew, orders, documents) belongs to those companies; Rigg processes it on their behalf under the service agreement.
Subscription payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. Rigg never receives or stores card details.
The Rigg apps use only strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and security.
Your rights
You may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
