Scope

The Rigg team provides Rigg, a hosted platform for audiovisual rental and production companies. These terms apply to accounts created on Rigg; an individual contract prevails where one exists.

Accounts and access

You must be 18 or older to create an account or a technician profile. Rigg is a tool for professional work and is not offered to children.

Each person uses their own credentials. The account owner decides who has access and with which permissions. Two-step verification is required for roles that handle administration or finance.

Plans, prices and payment

Prices are shown without VAT. Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance; plan changes are prorated.

A subscription renews by itself at the end of each period — every month on a monthly plan, every year on an annual one — and is charged to the card on file until it is cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, which stays available until then, and no refund of that period is due.

Card payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. If a payment fails we will warn the account before any restriction.

Trial period

Trials give access to the chosen plan for the period shown. At the end, a plan must be chosen to continue; data is kept.

Your data

Your data stays yours. You can export it at any time and for 30 days after the end of the contract. Rigg processes personal data on your behalf under a data-processing agreement.

Acceptable use

Do not use Rigg for unlawful purposes, to attack the service or other customers, or to store content you have no right to store.

Copyright and takedown

Rigg stores files its customers upload. If you believe something stored on Rigg infringes your copyright, write to the agent below with: your signature (an electronic one is enough), the work you say was infringed, where the material is (an address, or enough detail for us to find it), how to reach you, a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner or the law, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that what you wrote is accurate and that you are the owner or may act for them.

What we take down we take down for everybody, and we tell whoever uploaded it, who may answer with a counter-notice. Accounts that infringe again and again are closed.

Availability and support

We make reasonable efforts to keep Rigg available and secure, with backups and monitoring. Service levels are only guaranteed where an individual contract says so.

Invoicing to your clients

Until the integration with certified invoicing software is validated, Rigg does not issue certified invoices; you remain responsible for your legal invoicing.

Liability

Except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, Rigg's liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the previous 12 months.

Termination

You may cancel at any time with effect at the end of the paid period. We may suspend accounts for serious breach or prolonged non-payment, after notice.

Changes and law

We will announce material changes to these terms in advance. Portuguese law applies; the courts of Lisbon have jurisdiction. Contact: through the contact form on this website.
